The IOS production control module enables your organization to automate your business processes. This enhances management’s ability to track projects from generation of a proposal to the shipment.  It helps to accurately monitor the functioning of the organization leading to effective analysis and streamlining of your business processes

This module includes Vendor Management, Purchase Order Generation, Purchase and Sales preferences, Job Order creations, Production planning, Scheduling, Tracking orders, Customer Relationship Management, Shipments, etc. Reports can be generated for each step of the business process and these reports can be customized to view from very detailed to summary accounts of the operations based on the person who needs to review the report.

The production module also supports the generation of tickets which maybe necessary for issue of inventory, etc. Multiple Inventory locations are supported and the support of multi-level assemblies in the inventory makes the creation of Bill of Materials and Job orders effective and easy. The product keeps in mind the unique practices of the customer and supports these functions in a flexible but stable fashion.

The strength of the system also lies in its integration with a robust authentication and authorization modules which ensures that every user accesses the information that he/she needs to use. The provision to configure access rights for individual users, configure users into groups based on their department or function, and provide login authentication for users enables strict control of information access.

The system also integrates into IOS’s strong accounting module where the Transaction Management modules support accounting every step of the job process. It also supports accounting the inventory management activities, rejects, scrap items, inventory movement, purchases, shipment, and sales.


Accounting

Accounting forms the backbone of every business. It requires the support of a extremely stable and yet flexible architecture that accommodates the unique accounting practices of every business. The accounting module forms the heart of the IOS system. It is customizable to a great degree to suite the needs of most small scale organizations. It helps generate intuitive reports, warnings, ageing reports, standard costing, etc which help plan and monitor the organization’s cash flows in an intuitive and effective fashion.

Some of the features supported in IOS are configuring Chart of Accounts (with some default charts provided), support for State and Country Taxes, different Accounting Periods (quarterly, yearly, etc.), Multi-currency support, Production Unit based Accounting, Multiple departments/company support, generation Balance sheet, Ledger, Cash Book, standardized reports, standard costing, Invoices, Sales Memo, Credit Memo, Ageing Reports, etc, Bill of receipt, Quotations, Credits, etc.


Payroll

The IOS package has a customizable payroll package. Payroll is one of the major expenses of any business. Companies can eliminate tedious manual payroll calculations like Income Tax Deductions, Cash Breakdown etc., and save time gathering and preparing valuable information reports.  This comprehensive and complete payroll system is designed to work with any size business. Security

On accessing the IOS system the user is prompted to log into the system using his/her userid and password. The main function of authorization module is to give appropriate security to various modules of the package. The user will only be allowed to work on the modules he has been given privileges for. It also keeps track of the users logged into the system.

To enable structured handling of authorization, a group concept is adopted. Each user of the system is assigned a unique username and password. The users performing similar operations are clubbed into a group and group privileges as assigned to different modules of the application. Many groups can be created based on the different profiles of users or departments within the organization. Each of these groups can be assigned different levels of access for the modules and they would not be allowed to access modules they do not have permissions for.

The Authorization Module helps the administrator to create user accounts, group users, assign permissions to different groups, and set access levels for different modules to each group.


Supported Platforms and Databases

The IOS package is easily customizable and runs on inexpensive hardware. The Integrated Office System (IOS) is built on user-friendly environments – Microsoft Windows and supports a host of databases. It can be customized to operate using any popular backend database including Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle depending on the size of the organization and its data needs. IOS does not use proprietary data storage mechanisms, thus protecting the investment and data, which can be exported to any other software as needed.
