The LogSec System has been divided into two modules:

Visitor Management System
This module automates the process of
managing information regarding the people visiting an organization. The Security
personnel can use this tool to track the badges, time, pattern of people visiting
the organization and items carried by them. In case of an accident (like theft, fire, etc.)
the tool could be used to get a list of visitors present on campus at a particular point of time.
It could also be used to present demographic information regarding visitors and employees
they visited. Various reports can also be generated using this system.

Items Register
This module helps to tracks the logistics
of items in an organization. The systems addresses the process of material movement from
scheduling the arrival and scrapping of material to tracking the internal movement of
items within an organization. The module allows users to logically organize the company
into physical categories, allot security levels to categories and prescribe authorization
levels. Thus security personnel and users of the system are forced to comply with the corporate
level security and authorization regulations. The system tracks irregularities and breaches
to these rules. Intuitive and insightful reports are generated helping to track loss of items,
misuse of infrastructure and in time of audits. The system also help generate tickets for
material movement.
